The City of Statesville is advising residents of potential traffic impacts associated with the Drive-Through Holiday Balloon Glow scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025. The event will take place from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Statesville Park & Soccer Complex, with traffic impacts expected between 4:45 and 6:30 p.m.
According to city officials, previous years’ events have led to significant congestion on Simonton Road, Signal Hill Drive, and Signal Hill Extension. Drivers in the area are encouraged to plan ahead and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
Because the event is designed as a drive-through experience, no stopping or parking will be permitted within the Soccer Complex. The Statesville Police Department will be on site to assist with traffic management.
