STATESVILLE, N.C. — Construction on the Statesville Police Department Expansion project continues to move forward. A major milestone was recently reached with the full disassembly and removal of the crane from the job site, marking the completion of a significant phase of vertical construction.
The next step in the project involves the installation of stormwater drainage along Tradd Street. Once this work is finished, Tradd Street will be patched and reopened to traffic as quickly as possible.
Shoring and scaffolding installation is also nearing completion in preparation for the post-tension slab for the new expansion. Installation of the slab is scheduled to begin during the second week of December.
