The City of Statesville is inviting the community to a special event honoring four longtime public servants who are retiring after decades of dedication and leadership.
Mayor Costi Kutteh, Council Member Jap Johnson, Council Member Steve Johnson, and Council Member Joe Hudson are stepping down from their roles, marking a combined 84 years of service to the City of Statesville.
Residents are encouraged to join in recognizing their contributions on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Twisted Oak American Bar & Grill. The drop-in celebration will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and no RSVP is required.
The event offers an opportunity for community members to thank these leaders personally and reflect on their years of commitment to improving and guiding the City of Statesville.
