Brookdale Drive in Statesville will be temporarily closed at the entrance to Iredell Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department on Monday, October 6, as part of the city’s ongoing Water Line Replacement Project.
The closure will begin at 7 a.m. and is expected to last until 5 p.m. the same day.
During the closure, southbound traffic will be detoured to turn right onto Oakdale Drive and then left onto Hartness Road. Northbound traffic will turn left onto Hartness Road and then right onto Oakdale Drive.
Iredell Memorial Hospital has requested that all non-emergency vehicles use the Hartness Road entrance near the crosswalk to access the Emergency Department while Brookdale Drive is closed.
The City of Statesville asks for the public’s patience as crews continue work to improve the city’s water infrastructure.
