The Town of Mooresville offices will be closed from December 24 to December 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday. Sanitation customers are advised of changes to the trash and recycling pickup schedule next week. The modified schedule is as follows:
- Monday, December 23: Both Monday and Tuesday collections will take place.
- Thursday, December 26: Wednesday collections will be made.
- Friday, December 27: Thursday collections will be made.
New Year Holiday Schedule
Town of Mooresville offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 1, in celebration of the New Year. Sanitation services will experience a one-day delay, so please plan accordingly for trash and recycling pickups.
The Statesville City offices, including the Statesville Fitness and Activity Center and Bentley Community Center, will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 25 in recognition of the Christmas holiday. Revised Residential Garbage and Recycling Collection:
- Monday’s routes will be collected on the regular schedule.
- Tuesday and Wednesday’s routes will be collected on Thursday.
- Thursday and Friday’s routes will be collected on Friday.
Revised Commercial Roll-Out Container Collection:
Friday and Saturday’s routes will be collected on the regular schedule.
Monday and Tuesday’s routes will be collected on Monday.
Wednesday and Thursday’s routes will be collected on Thursday.
