STATESVILLE, NC – The Statesville Community Appearance Commission has announced the winners of the 2025 Spring Community Appearance Awards, recognizing residents who have shown exceptional dedication to improving the visual appeal of their neighborhoods.
This year’s honorees are Barbee and Dee Ham of Innisbrook Drive and Sarah and Kenneth Teague of Walnut Street. Their properties were selected for their exemplary landscape maintenance, curb appeal, and overall enhancement of neighborhood character.
“These awards celebrate more than just beautiful yards,” said Ann Speaks, Chair of the Community Appearance Commission. “They honor the pride, care, and commitment that residents bring to their neighborhoods – efforts that inspire community-wide beautification.”
Each year, the commission opens nominations and selects winners based on visual appearance, originality, and the impact on neighborhood charm. Winners receive a decorative yard sign and official recognition from the City of Statesville.
