Downtown Statesville will host two festive events this week as the community prepares for the holiday season. The annual Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on Thursday, December 4, 2025, followed by the Downtown Shop & Stroll on Friday, December 5.

Downtown Statesville is also offering children a chance to connect with the North Pole through Santa’s Magic Mailbox. Kids can drop off letters to Santa and, by including their name and address, will receive a personalized reply. Information on the mailbox program can be found at www.statesvillenc.net/santa.
