Wanda Sue Johnson Knox, 57, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, in Statesville, North Carolina. She was born on May 16, 1967, in Iredell County, to Clarence “Sonny” Johnson, Sr. and Myra Brown Johnson Harrold.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Eddie Lee Knox, Jr. of Statesville; son, Christopher Joshua Knox of Statesville; daughter, Shante Nicole Knox of Statesville; brothers, Clarence Johnson (Alyssa) of Stony Point, and James Allen Johnson of Statesville; niece, Baylee Holland; and special baby, Buttercup.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Wanda’s life will follow, beginning at 5:00 p.m., with Pastor Curtis White officiating.
