Mooresville police arrested a man following a drug investigation that led to the seizure of cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana.
On September 22, 2025, narcotics detectives with the Mooresville Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on Alexander Street. During the search, officers reported seizing 52.9 grams of cocaine, 6.5 grams of crack cocaine, and 140 grams of marijuana.
As a result of the investigation, 46-year-old Bobby Nicholson of Mooresville was arrested. He is charged with trafficking in cocaine, two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, two counts of felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for the sale of narcotics, sale of narcotics within 1,000 feet of a school, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Nicholson was taken to the Iredell County Jail, where he was placed under a $500,000 secured bond.
The Mooresville Police Department said the case is part of its ongoing efforts to address illegal narcotics in the community.
