Construction work continues at the Statesville High School football stadium on North Center Street. As part of the ongoing improvements, the school’s contractor is scheduled to begin pouring concrete at 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The early start is intended to help crews avoid working during the extreme daytime heat.
Nearby residents should be aware that stadium lights will be on, and concrete trucks and equipment will be active during the early morning hours.
Although this is not a City of Statesville project, the city is sharing the information to help notify residents who may be affected by the early activity.
