Troutman, NC – A woman was arrested early Monday morning after a traffic stop led to the discovery of methamphetamine.

Shortly after midnight on March 3, 2025, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Charlotte Highway. The driver, Amanda Weaver, 45, of Mount Holly, was found to have a revoked license.

During the stop, officers developed probable cause to search the vehicle. The search resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Weaver was arrested and charged with:

  • Felony Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Misdemeanor Driving While License Revoked

A magistrate ordered her held on a $5,000 secured bond.
